Hi, my name is Channell, and I’m the founder of The Khari Bee Collection a brand born from a journey shaped by love, loss, healing, and purpose.

In my early adulthood, I began developing alopecia. At the time, I didn’t know how to talk about it or even how to face it. Instead of addressing it early, I tried to hide it. The embarrassment made me stay silent, and by the time I truly started searching for answers, I had permanent damage to my hair follicles. What stayed with me wasn’t just the hair loss it was how it slowly chipped away at my confidence. I remember thinking, “If only I would’ve addressed it earlier instead of being ashamed of something I couldn’t control.”

Not long after, I worked on an oncology floor, and I witnessed how chemotherapy-related hair loss can change a woman’s spirit. It’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it hair loss can feel like losing a piece of yourself, and rebuilding confidence takes time and support. Then it became even more personal: my granny developed ovarian cancer. She always had long, straight, healthy hair, and when she lost it, I could tell it hurt her deeply. She never believed in “fake hair,” but she felt forced to wear a wig just to feel dignity. That moment changed me. I said, I have to try something for her.

That’s when I started researching learning about carrier oils, herbs, and scalp nourishing ingredients that could support healthier hair. When I became a mother, my “why” grew even bigger. I prayed for a baby with healthy hair and made a vow to care for my daughter’s hair every day. I began making my own oils for her instead of relying on random products. Her name is Khari, and that’s where The Khari Bee Collection comes from. Today, her long, healthy hair is a reminder of why I started.

Over time, I began donating oils to people battling hair loss and scalp issues and watching them regain not just healthier hair, but confidence. That’s when I knew this wasn’t just a product. It was my purpose.

I’m originally from Fresno, California, and now I’m based in Dallas, Texas a girl with a dream, a heart for helping others, and a passion for real solutions. My mission is simple: to help women and families support scalp health, build healthier hair habits, and never feel like they have to hide.
